Brand style guide for The Biscuit Bar

This repository contains the web design style guide for The Biscuit Bar.

This includes a design elements page, stylesheets, and fonts.

All fonts must be open license.

Fonts

  • Logo font: Cooper* Black
  • Tagline font: Lobster Two Italic
  • Header font: TBD
  • Body font: Libre Baskerville (to be decided)

Color palette

  • Primary Blue: #1E6FAE
  • Accent Navy: #0F2C47
  • Warm Biscuit Yellow: #FFC532
  • Golden Biscuit Yellow: #FFDA8A
  • Cream Navy: #FFF3D9

Brand tone

  • Warm, nostalgic, diner-inspired, playful Southern comfort
  • Cheerful, folksy, charming, “big biscuits, bigger appetite” energy.

Logo usage

Use Cooper Black for all primary headers. Maintain bold, rounded lettering.

Typography rules

  • Use script fonts only for short taglines.
  • Use serif fonts for menu descriptions.

Graphics and illustration style

Retro cartoons, thick outlines, sunshine rays, gingham accents.

Icons and patterns

Biscuit silhouettes, rolling pins, gingham, sunshine bursts.
